Tahoe Third Brake Light Not Working. Please give me some ideas. Once I plug it back in and install it. I have a 2007 Chevy Tahoe LTZ. Have not located any blown fuses with this car as this is the only problem electrically with this car. Look in the trunk if applicable. Got a 1991 Honda Accord with the 3rd Brake Light not coming on when brake pedal is pressed. I replaced the multifunction switch on the column but that did not work. I have checked the bulbs and the fuses.
I have checked the wires and plugs I get power to the light and when I test the light on my work bench it works fine.
ALL fuses are good. The most recently reported issues are listed below. - Answered by a verified Chevy Mechanic. The brake light do not work but the third light works hazards work blinkers work and tail lights work. I have a third brake light that wont work. Point the white wire is bad from the brake switch to the multi function switch and possibly the split off to the rear 3rd brake light or possibly the multi function switchsince the rear hazards work we know the wiring to the rear is good as the hazards use the same.
