Maglite Led Bulb Replacement Instructions. Upgrading to this Nite Ize Combo Kit is simple. Remove the bulb assembly collar and the bulb. Use the removal method in this other link if your LED module does not look EXACTLY as shown in this picture. I had already cleaned it I did this again cause after running through some website.
It is for use only by factory-certified technicians performing authorized warranty service on the Mini Maglite Flashlight andor other Mini Maglite Flashlight components. A Maglite seems to be a most durable flashlight but mine suddenly flickered off while I was using it. This Maglite Modification transforms the Maglite from a 19 lumen to a 900-1000 lumen monster. If the flashlight still doesnt work you may need new batteries. This is a common question asked by preppers. You simply unscrew the head from the Maglite take the old bulb out and replace it with the LED bulb.
If it doesnt check the orientation of the batteries.
Remove the bulb assembly collar and the bulb. Examine the bulb for corrosion or debris that may be interfering with the bulbs operation. If it is clean look for damage to the bulb or receptacle. Generally the conversion doesnt require any tools just unscrew the head of the light take out the incandescent bulb and replace with the correct MagLite LED bulb upgrade. This is a close-up of the LED module that is held to the barrel by a plastic ring. The second is to simply replace the incandescent bulb with an LED bulb.
