Jeep Grand Cherokee Power Windows Not Working. Tried the disconnect the battery trick. Also interior lights do not go gon when doors open but they do work when turned on manually. The power locks on the drivers side doesnt work but the power locks on the passengers side does work. 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited.
At a dealership i have seen alot of this in these jeeps 90 of the time the problem is between the driver door and the body open the door there is a rubber tube with wires inside diconnect this ruber tube from the door pull it back and i would almost promise you will find some broken wires just strip them connect. Key fob locks all doors except drivers. Power Door Lock Switches and Power Window Switches stop working when I open my door a little investigating and pulled the rubber boot back on the wire harness into the door and found a broken wire hanging on by a thread of the wire sleeve allowing it to make contact when the door closes and disconnect when.
