1995 honda accord speedometer not working

1995 Honda Accord Speedometer Not Working. When in stop and go traffic the needle bounces around and makes the car stall and downshift and rev up. I replaced the speed sensor with no change. Now the odometer and speedometer are not working. The check engine light does NOT come on while this is happening.

Well i have a 95 Honda Accord LX 22L and its not a V6. Either your vehicles speed sensor or speedometer gauge cluster have failed. You could also go to juck yard for parts. My speedometer is working interrmitently on my 95 accord. The VSS went bad so this is how to replace it. Instead the Accords speed sensor uses pulses to determine the vehicles speed.

Speedometer does not work. You have put too much money on that car. I have a 1996 Honda Accord with 190000 miles. I went to my honda dealer and they said that the speed sensor was fine however the speedometer assembly would have to be replaced 500 canadian labour. Could it be the VSS. The odometer also stops counting.
